Taining Jinhu Carbon Co. Ltd, which was established in Fujian Province in 1986, is situated in the area of Golden Lake in Taining County, which is the first Geological Park of the world evaluated by UNESCO in Fujian Province. The factory covers an area of 21,000 square meters, with a construction area of 16,000 square meters. There are more than two hundred employees including senior engineers. The factory produces physical and chemical active carbon for the purification of model medicine, food and industry, the annual production of which is up to 8,000tons. The company attaches great importance to technology innovation and set up long-term technical cooperation relationship with the Chemistry Department of Xiamen University and Nanjing Forest Science Institute to develop new products, including the new strong absorbing bamboo active carbon which has passed the evaluation of the general bureaus of the State Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, quality testing General bure3au of Environmental Protection, the honor board on the national key new products roll.
The company attaches importance to scientific management. Therefore it has passed ISO9001:2000- international quality system authentication and obtained the medicines production license.
The company has privilege of self-run export. Its products have been sold home and abroad. Since its exchange earnings and tax-take a big part in Sanming city, it was awarded “Key Enterprise” by the people’s government of Taining County and honored by Sanming city with the title of “Trustworthy Company”. The company has been chosen as the credit unit of AA grade by the branch of Fujian Province of Agricultural Bank of China year after since 1995.
